The Role
// We’re looking for a Product Lead/Senior Product Manager to guide one of Masabi’s most strategic customer programs: a multi-year fare payment modernisation initiative with ARTM (Autorité Régionale de Transport Métropolitain), the regional transit authority serving Greater Montréal.
You’ll be the dedicated product lead for this program, aligning the agency’s goals with Masabi’s configurable SaaS platform. From bilingual discovery workshops to roadmap negotiation and agile delivery, you’ll shape solutions that simplify transit for millions of riders, all while championing our product and deepening a long-term customer relationship.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role with a path to leadership, evolving into a “Head of Product, Strategic Programs” position overseeing future large-scale deployments.
Location_
// Remote-first for candidates based in Eastern Canada, with quarterly travel to Montréal and occasional site visits as required.
Language Requirement_
// This role is only available for candidates who are fluent in both French and English.
Responsibilities_
- Own the end-to-end product relationship with ARTM, guiding product strategy and delivery
- Lead bilingual (EN/FR) discovery workshops; document needs via user journeys, briefs, and specs
- Maintain a single prioritised backlog and guide the agency toward configuration-first solutions
- Represent Product in PI Planning and program syncs
- Collaborate with platform PMs to align roadmap direction
- Build trusted relationships with ARTM and internal teams, acting as a key point of contact
- Shape governance reporting: KPIs, risks, SteerCos, and more
- Partner with engineers, delivery leads, and system integrators to deliver impact
About You_
- Strategic product thinker with experience delivering customer-facing initiatives
- Product leadership experience, including line management or coaching other PMs
- Comfortable working in SaaS, platform, or complex B2B environments
- Confident facilitating workshops and crafting clear documentation
- Fluent in English and French
- Skilled at balancing user needs with platform priorities
- Experienced working with scaled agile frameworks like SAFe
- Strong communicator who builds trust and drives clarity
- Able to travel to Montréal when required
Bonus Points_
- Public sector or large-scale program delivery
- SAFe certification or equivalent agile-at-scale training
- Familiarity with transit, payments, or fare collection
