Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Minimum 5 Years of Site Management Experience
-
Oversee All Site Crews Including Equipment Operators, Laborer’s, Flaggers and Sub-Contractors
-
Coordinate with Project Managers to Ensure Work is Being Carried out According to the Budget and Schedules
-
On-site Implementation and Management of the Health and Safety Programs.
-
Maximize Site Productivity by Managing and Coordinating the Work Performance, Quality and Efficiency of Sub-Contractors
-
Solid Knowledge of Earthworks, Demolition, Remediation/ Reclamation
-
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
-
Must be Able to Read Blueprints
-
Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Team Environment
-
Exceptional Time Management Skills with the Ability to Prioritize Activities and Allocate Resources Effectively
-
Create a Safe Work Environment by Implementing Strict HSE Guidelines on Site and Ensuring Compliance with all Related Legislation and Safe Work and Job Practices
-
Dedicated to Learning and Constantly Mastering Your Skillset
-
Safety Tickets, Fall Protection, GD2, First Aid, CSTS, Etc. are an asset.

Experience with Heavy Job is an Asset
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a timely manner
- Highest level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- H2S Alive and CPR/First Aid are assets
- Ground Disturbance
- Willing to work out of town as required
- Ability to work long hours with some weekends and overtime
- Must complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol and fit testing
- Must have a clean driving record and provide commercial drivers abstract with resume

About KLS EARTHWORKS
KLS Earthworks & Environmental is an Aboriginal owned, Western Canadian company in operation since 1990. Today, we are a leader in excavation, earthworks and environmental construction, providing safe excavation solutions to construction and remediation projects in Western Canada.
KLS specializes in excavation of road interchanges, tower foundations, bridges, storm ponds, landfill construction/capping, and commercial building projects. We have the team and expertise capable to execute contaminated site remediation & reclamation, in-stream/riparian projects, and pipeline integrity programs. Our elevated standard of safety, quality, and value provides our clients with solutions to their environmental and earth-works challenges.
We pride ourselves on a versatile employee-base which can implement earthwork solutions safely while minimizing environmental impact. We provide Project Supervisors with significant experience and safety training. All of our field employees are subject to competency evaluations and “fitness for work” testing as a part of our comprehensive Safety Program.
