About Banded Peak Brewery Banded Peak Brewing started from humble beginnings with three friends opening a brewery and taproom in Calgary in 2016. Since then, Banded Peak has grown into a staple in the craft beer community with a strong taproom program and distribution across Alberta. Banded Peak is a leader in innovation in styles as well as growing taproom culture in Calgary by championing the establishment of the Barley Belt, a district with Alberta’s highest concentration of taprooms. Banded Peak has been a strong partner of the outdoor community in Alberta, with a passion for making adventurous beer for adventurous people.

ROLE SUMMARY: Our brand ambassadors promote and raise awareness around Banded Peak products in retail stores and bars by providing samples, answering questions, and discussing the product.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run and support sampling initiatives in retail stores and bars.
  • Represent Banded Peak Brewing at unique and varied promotional events and other activation activities.
  • Perform all duties associated with event execution. Including but not limited to: setup/tear-down, supply runs, beer pouring, etc.
  • Interface with the public, presenting Banded Peak Brewing beers and discussing in detail with guests.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be legal alcohol serving age.
  • Must have an Alberta ProServe license.
  • Must have a reliable working vehicle.
  • Basic knowledge and enthusiasm for craft beer.
  • Must be ready to bring a high degree of energy and transfer this to our customers and event guests.
  • Willing to work samplings and events during evenings and weekends.
  • Experience working and coordinating promotional events preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to perform physical duties associated with the setup/teardown. Must be able to bend and twist, sit, and stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 35lbs repeatedly.
  • Must be willing to work outdoor events during hot, cold, or otherwise adverse weather conditions.

Compensation: $20/hour - part-time
