Title: Steamfitter / Pipefitter
Position: Permanent Full-Time
Shift: Afternoon (3pm 11pm)
Location: Sterling Road, Toronto, ON
Rate: $44.1/hr
License: 307A
Experience in the food manufacturing or pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Steamfitter license (307A)
- Trained and experienced in Maintenance of piping and plumbing systems.
- Perform pipe fitting tasks including installation, repair, and replacement of components such as heat exchangers, control valves, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
- Identify and fix leaks in various piping systems, including steam lines, condensate return, product pipelines, and roof drainage systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure piping systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of welding is an asset but not a primary requirement.
- Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and mechanical drawings.
- Flexible to be called in on weekends and off-shift
