Position Overview: As an Operations Administrative Assistant – contract at Daniels Health, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Customer Service team in maintaining meticulous records, updating databases, and performing other administrative duties in accordance with established procedures. Daniels Health is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of service in medical waste management, contributing to safety and infection risk reduction in healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming regular and electronic mail, and other materials, ensuring proper distribution. Coordinate information flow internally and with external departments and organizations.
  • Prepare outgoing mail via Canada Post and Purolator
  • Printing and distribution process documents for route drivers
  • Maintain ministry records, ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
  • Updating of documents and filing of paperwork.
  • This position requires a candidate with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic healthcare service environment.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring work quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced computing skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite or related tools.
  • Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
