Responsibilities Reporting to the Outbound Manager, the Outbound Senior will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist management with planning and leading teams
- Identify and report damages, shortages or overages on unloaded trucks
- Mentor, coach and give performance feedback to employees and assist management in facilitating employee development
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Picking and put-away of all product types
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions
- Verify and report on inventory; ensure accuracy in the generation of reports
- Process store entry stock transfers
- Ensure compliance with all company health and safety, security and operational policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Knowledge and use of equipment such as; Power Cart, Order picker, RF scanner, as well as forklift
- Maintain proficient knowledge of department systems and procedures
- Proficient level on WMS systems and procedures is considered an asset
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs plus
- Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
- Leadership and process improvement
- Takes charge and good team attitude
- Minimum 6 months working experience in a Warehousing/Distribution environment
- Minimum 6 months working experience in a computerized inventory controlled environment
- Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings and weekends
