About the role

Overview We are seeking a Bilingual Territory Sales Associate to join our SodaStream Field Sales team. You will be the face of our brand with retailers and will be responsible for flawless field merchandising and execution for your assigned territory, as well as new business development. You will also influence orders where required and provide support in the areas of training, Joint Value Creation sales tactics, and new account set-up.

Responsibilities

  • Effective utilization of professional and fact-based selling skills to achieve 100% distribution on all listed products and secure additional points of interruptions
  • Establish and nurture strong business relationships with influencers and decision-makers at stores.
  • Interact regularly with store staff/decision makers to keep them informed about upcoming store projects and timelines.
  • Maintain a customer database on customer information, call activity, actions, follow-ups and results highlighting (replenishment influencers, pricing accuracy, flawless execution for POG guidelines, etc.)
  • Prospect for new leads to identify and generate new business in the designated sales territory.
  • Assists with corporate trade show events.
  • Prepare reports on client interactions, sales activities, and tasks.
  • Administrative tasks as required.
  • Travel monthly to assigned satellite territories, including overnight stays.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years field merchandising experience in a retail environment or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (i.e. verbal & written) accompanied by great negotiation capabilities
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with the ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Understanding of sales processes, metrics, and analytics.
  • Recognizes potential opportunities and excels under pressure with quick thinking.
  • Prospecting, cold calling, and new business development.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and be flexible.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Clean driving record, reliable transportation, and background check required.
  • Must be Bilingual English and French

Working Conditions:

  • Daily travel required to various retail locations with geographical area.
  • Heavy lifting and moving of stock daily.
  • Other travel outside of the territory required including overnight travel
