Job Description
How will you make an impact:
You will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing an organization's operational processes through data-driven insights. This role involves a combination of data analysis, modeling, and critical thinking to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive overall business performance.
What will you do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze operational data, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into key operational metrics, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
- Partner with the Supervisor Operations Projects to support the execution of strategic initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations and insights.
- Work closely with the Operations Strategy Manager to provide data-driven insights that update the development and refinement of operational strategies.
- Design and implement solutions to streamline processes, improve resource allocation, and enhance productivity.
- Apply statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast operational trends and outcomes, aiding in resource allocation and planning.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability for analysis purposes.
- Assist in the development of data collection methods and tools to enhance the quality and quantity of operational data.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner, facilitating data-driven discussions and decision-making.
- Support S&OP processes by providing accurate demand forecasts, supply chain insights, and capacity utilization data. Help ensure that supply and demand are effectively balanced.
- Create S&OP "what-if" scenarios to assess the impact of different decisions on the supply chain, production schedules to help mitigate risk management and decision-making.
- Monitor and assess the performance of automation solutions, adjusting as necessary to improve efficiency.
How will you get here?
Education:
High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate is required.
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent an asset.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year previous processing experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in either powder blending/granulation, tablet compression and/or coating
Equivalency:
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Mechanical interest/proficiency. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to run and process batches in high potency manufacturing suites. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong organizational and communications skills. Detail oriented and persistent with follow-ups to ensure completion. Ability to work well independently and in a team environment with limited supervision. Excellent knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. Excellent understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and safety standards. Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Proficiency with the English language.
