The Dispute Resolution Office, Ministry of Justice and Attorney General, is seeking a highly organized, motivated, energetic and service-oriented individual to provide support to the Civil Mediation Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment of Statements of Claim and Defense to determine the assignment of mediators; and scheduling and tracking of each civil mediation file to ensure compliance with legislation. The successful candidate will serve as an administrative liaison between/among The Dispute Resolution Office management and mediators, the legal community, the general public and the Court of King’s Bench staff.
Typically, the competencies required in this position would be obtained through training in office administration, combined with several years of administrative support experience. The incumbent will require strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative with little or no supervision. The incumbent will interact professionally and respectfully with individuals who may be angry, rude or confused.

Hours of Work**:** A - SGEU Office 36 - one day off every two weeks
