Title: Project Developer, Primary Care
Salary: $88,948 - $104,644 - $120,341 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Term for 1 year
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: West Kelowna or Kamloops, BC, located on the unceded ancestral territories of the Syilx or Secwépemc Nations – Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy.
About The Role As Project Developer, Primary Care, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing First Nations-led primary care initiatives across the region. You will be closely collaborating with First Nations communities and health system partners to co-develop impactful health projects. From conducting research and analysis to drafting project plans, budgets, reports, and presentations, you will bring ideas to life using established tools and templates. You will be supporting regional priorities - such as Primary Care Networks and other community-driven health initiatives -providing strategic assistance in planning and accessing information. You will be operating within a collaborative, matrixed environment, building strong relationships across teams and may occasionally support management and lead project teams.
About You To be successful in this role you will have/be –
Education
- A university degree in health and/or public policy, health systems management, political and/or social sciences, Indigenous studies, finance, or other related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- 5-7 years of recent and relevant experience in policy, project, and/or program development.
- Experience in working successfully with First Nations communities and First Nations health programs and services.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
