Are you a compassionate, client-centered professional looking to make a real difference? We’re seeking a Physiotherapist to join our interdisciplinary team. We are hiring for a temporary position through June 2026, with the possibility of extension, and offering a flexible FTE ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 FTE depending on candidate availability, with opportunities to work across multiple Pacekids programs including Early Childhood Services (ECS), Community-Inclusive Hours (CIH), and Trellis programming.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values family-centered practice, and is committed to providing high-quality, inclusive therapy services.

  • Provide transition and summary reports; maintain documentation to meet College of Physiotherapists of Alberta (CPTA) and Pacekids standards
  • Meet all documentation, hour tracking, and billing deadlines as applicable
  • Educate and train Pacekids staff to enhance gross motor programming
  • Build rapport with children and families, adapting recommendations to meet individual needs in a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed way
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture in line with Pacekids’ values

What You Bring

  • Registered member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta (CPTA)

  • Clearance from a Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector) and Child Intervention Record Check, current within 6 months
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Experience supporting preschool and school-aged children
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse needs and abilities

Position Expectations

  • Communicate effectively and respond to emails/voicemails within 2 business days
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and families
  • Maintain a play-based, developmentally appropriate, and individualized approach to therapy
  • Demonstrate strong time management, including timely completion of documentation, reporting, and scheduling
  • Maintain professional growth and learning to ensure current, evidence-informed practice
  • Respect and maintain staff and client confidentiality at all times
  • Follow all Pacekids protocols for reporting absences, vacation requests, payroll submissions, and administrative responsibilities
  • Adhere to all applicable privacy and health information legislation (PIPA, FOIP, HIA)
