The Job Opportunity:
The Smurfit Westrock Mississauga facility is looking for an experienced Flexo Helper to work on nights. This position is responsible for the daily operations of the printing press. This includes in assisting in make-readies, press performance, quality, maintenance and housekeeping.
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a helper position.
- Can do attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the Company
- Ability to adapt to changes in priorities, work independently and with a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to maintain good attendance.
Shift Schedule: Must be willing to change shifts due to vacation coverage or other operational needs.
Nights:
- Monday to Thursday: 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM
- Friday: OFF
