How You’ll Make An Impact The Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for designing and executing automated and ad-hoc campaigns, primarily using email marketing and involving some mobile marketing.
Working under the guidance of the Manager, Marketing Automation, this role supports and maintains efficient operations across Fidelity’s marketing automation and sales enablement platforms, in addition to other initiatives, such as the automated production of fund performance materials.
The ideal candidate will also have expertise in building and optimizing landing pages with integrated forms, developing and managing campaign workflows, and conducting analytics and reporting across various distribution lines. The objectives are to acquire and convert leads, drive sales, mitigate redemptions, and successfully promote awareness of Fidelity’s brands, products, and services.
Key Accountabilities
- Marketing automation and sales enablement support
- Timely and accurate execution of email marketing campaigns in marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo.
- Publishing and maintenance of sales enablement material in Seismic.
- Ideation and execution of new email and lead generation campaigns to support AUM growth and sales.
- Collaborate with other teams to build and improve lead generation and nurture campaigns.
- Support and evolve marketing automation campaigns for various distribution channels.
- Build and maintain landing pages with integrated forms to support lead generation and campaign goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize lead generation and nurture workflows.
- Knowledge and adherence to company and regulatory policies/regulations around data, consent, and privacy.
- Database maintenance, content production and campaign execution
- Support the on-time and efficient delivery of performance materials (MarketPulse, FundPulse, FactSheets, Quarterly Fund Review, Performance Updates).
- Established customer journeys reviewed monthly - Campaign KPIs.
- Contribute to resource efficiency by streamlining campaign operations and content updates.
- Marketing effectiveness, measurement, and reporting
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
- Quarterly campaign reporting.
- Continuous campaign effectiveness improvement as demonstrated by KPIs.
- Optimizing marketing automation programs for maximum performance aligned to goals.
- Effective communication of campaign business impact to stakeholders.
- Decrease in Product and Marketing resources required to keep materials up to date.
- Conduct research to aid others in continual optimization through A/B and multivariate testing.
- Assist in the development of regular reporting on campaign performance and help with conducting postmortem analysis.
- Automation, A.I. and digital subject matter expert
- Participation and membership on project teams related to digital marketing initiatives.
- Produce documentation, process maps, and reports to support marketing operations.
- Conducting ongoing research into digital trends in the industry to ensure Fidelity Canada is pursuing market-leading tactics.
- Campaign design and operations
- Partner with others in Marketing, Sales, Emerging distribution channels, Finance and IS to create targeted email campaigns.
- Monitor and adjust automation campaigns to improve KPIs and business impact.
- Ideate, plan, and implement new campaigns to support departmental/corporate targets.
- Manage audience segmentation and data quality to ensure campaign precision and effectiveness.
- Developing and documenting marketing automation job aides and best practices including list management, optimization, data quality, data hygiene and troubleshooting.
What We Are Looking For
- University degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of marketing operations or production management experience.
- Understanding of marketing automation and CRMs (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).
- Understanding of sales enablement (e.g., Seismic).
Nice to Have’s
- 3-5 years of experience in the Mutual Fund/Financial Services industry.
- Experience in document and content production technology (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) Experience with database management and content production.
- PMP/Marketo Certification.
