Primary Role

The Procurement Specialist’s main role is to be responsible for onboarding inventory, researching equipment specifications, creating contracts, and managing customer relationships while communicating effectively with other departments. This person should have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and deadlines. The Procurement Specialist is expected to consistently display and model the values and mission of the company. This role is Salary plus 5% commission.

Job Responsibilities

As a member of our Procurement Team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

· Bring equipment into Lenmark’s system via consignment or purchase with high margins.

· Onboarding inventory and managing product information in the system.

· Researching equipment specifications and suggesting pricing and contracts to sellers.

· Creating contracts and managing the negotiation process, including:

o Racking deals and researching.

o Managing the incoming inventory pipeline.

o Keeping files organized.

· Building and maintaining strong seller relationships.

· Managing deals and contracts through Lenmark’s systems: HubSpot and Launch

· Tracking all communications in Lenmark’s CRM: HubSpot

· Communicating effectively with other departments.

· Provide excellent service and respond to seller inquiries in a timely manner.

· Participating in purchasing meetings and sessions.

· Work with the Procurement Manager on any other projects, as required.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

· Proven experience in a purchasing role or working with sellers/clients, preferably in an industrial setting.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

· Ability to work well under pressure and meet purchasing targets to ensure business success.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software, or comfortable learning new software.

The ideal candidate MUST be highly technologically competent

In addition, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

· Detail-oriented.

· Phone-oriented and comfortable with making phone calls.

· Knowledge and customer service principles and practices.

· Good public relation skills and industry knowledge.
