Your job
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns
• Secure payments in a professional, equitable and timely manner
• Work in partnership with clients to resolve disputes and negotiate the best possible solutions
• Exercise discretion and respect the confidentiality of all customers and vendor transactions
• Manage customer files / make decisions with respect to file acceleration (next steps i.e. repossession, write off, legal action)
Your team
Within the Equipment Finance sector, you are part of a team of 300+ colleagues across Canada, and you report to the Manager, Contract Administration. Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role. You can access personalized training content on such topics as banking solutions and the advisory approach to support your ongoing learning. You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.
Basic requirements
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in: Administration or Client Services within Banking, Financial Services, Credit or Collections.
• Ability to accurately set up and clearly document payment arrangements.
• Keen attention to detail with proven experience maintaining accurate documentation.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
• Intermediate in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn other applications and programs.
• Working knowledge of compliance laws pertaining to Collections would be considered a strong asset.
