What the job involves
- As the Manager of Financial Planning, you will support, scale, and develop a team that delivers proactive financial advice to Wealthsimple clients
- Foster world-class talent, cultivate an environment of growth and drive alignment across a cross functional team in a fast-changing, high-volume sales environment
- This is not about managing traditional planners roles who deliver static plans
- You’re building and nurturing a team of high-performance, tech-powered planners who help clients take action today—and drive growth for the business while doing it
- You play a key role in empowering Canadians to reach their financial freedom goals!
- Foster and Developer World-Class Talent: You’ll retain, build and grow a team of curious, tech-savvy planners by coaching sales skills, fostering accountability, and creating clear paths for growth
- Scale a Fast-Growing, High Volume Advice Business: You’ll create scalable systems and operating rhythms that let planners deliver quality advice efficiently while staying nimble enough to adapt as we grow and evolve
- Drive Alignment and Performance in a Changing Environment: Drive key metrics (net deposits, conversion, productivity, NPS) through relentless data analysis, keeping the team aligned to evolving priorities and equipped with clear expectations and context for success
- Deliver a Modern Client Experience: Deliver a simple, action-oriented client experience that's tech-powered yet human-first by collaborating cross-functionally to continuously improve how we provide real-life financial advice
