We’re looking for a Social Video Producer who brings next-level creativity and energy to digital video storytelling across some of Canada’s most iconic media brands—Toronto Life, Maclean’s, Chatelaine, FASHION, Hello! Canada, and Canadian Business.
You’ll concept, shoot, and edit scroll-stopping short-form videos that drive engagement and make audiences care. You’ll also play a hands-on role in helping us grow our video presence on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and beyond.
This is a high-impact creative role—ideal for a rising video talent with strong instincts, fast hands, and big ideas who wants to make content people actually watch. And if you’re interested in being part of the videos - even better!

Capture and direct on-camera talent (or jump in front of the lens yourself when needed)
-
Use editing tools and AI-powered creative tools to enhance efficiency, brainstorm faster, and elevate storytelling
-
Track performance and optimize based on what’s working (and what’s not)

Assist on larger productions and branded campaigns as needed
-
Work with external production partners and freelancers when required.

-
Ensure podcasts align with brand voice, audience interests, and distribution best practices

You are a highly creative professional, with significant experience in the lifestyle media space with the ability to develop content through the entire production process. You are a pop culture junkie with passions for digital and modern storytelling from high to low-fi formats.
-
4+ years of experience in digital and social video production, with a strong portfolio of
short-form and social-first content -
Full-stack creator: you can

Knowledge of podcast hosting platforms (e.g., Megaphone, Libsyn, Spotify for Podcasters)
-
Livestream or live video experience
-
A background in lifestyle, fashion, wellness, or city culture storytelling
