About the role
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated XMPie Specialist to oversee and maintain our XMPie-based storefront(s). The ideal candidate will have deep experience with XMPie StoreFlow and uStore environments, including managing both static and print-on-demand (POD) product catalogs. This individual will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our online print store, ensuring smooth customer experiences, timely product updates, accurate personalization options, and comprehensive backend administration. Additionally, the Store Manager will support web and email inquiries, manage user access and permissions, and collaborate across departments to meet business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Store Management & Product Maintenance
- Add, configure, and update static and print-on-demand products in the XMPie store.
- Create and manage product templates and associated assets for variable data print (VDP) items.
- Set up pricing, SKU management, metadata, and product options as per business rules.
- Work with creative and production teams to implement product imagery, personalization fields, and proofing logic.
- Ensure quality control and test ordering workflows regularly for accuracy and user experience.
User Administration & Access Management
- Manage user roles, permissions, and profiles within the XMPie platform.
- Set up user groups and assign access levels for internal and external clients.
- Monitor user activity to ensure security and compliance with company policies.
- Provide training and documentation for end users and internal teams as needed.
Store****front Customization & Technical Admin
- Customize storefront layout, branding, and user interface elements using XMPie tools and basic web technologies (HTML/CSS).
- Administer store settings including tax rules, shipping methods, payment options, and integrations.
- Coordinate updates and maintenance cycles with IT and vendor partners to ensure platform stability and performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for system enhancements and feature rollouts.
Customer & Technical Support

Provide first-level support for customer issues related to order placement, customization, account access, or product concerns.

Monitor the support email inbox and respond to tickets in a timely and professional manner.

Work with internal IT/web teams and vendors for second-level support or escalations.

Assist in resolving template errors, rendering issues, or data integration problems.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with XMPieStoreFlow, uStore, and uCreate.
- Proven experience managing print-on-demand and static products in a digital storefront.
- Strong understanding of VDP (Variable Data Printing) workflows and template logic.
- Familiarity with user administration, workflow setup, and order processing within XMPie.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and basic scripting for frontend customization.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially related to XMPie output, PDF generation, and user access issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience integrating XMPie with MIS or third-party platforms (e.g., payment gateways, shipping APIs).
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and XMPie uCreate Plug-in for template creation.
- Customer service or technical support experience in a web or digital print environment.
- Project management or e-commerce background is a plus.
