We’re Hiring: Social Media & Brand Manager
Are you a creative, detail-driven storyteller who understands how to translate a brand across platforms? Passionate about community, startups, and purpose-driven work?
Canada Startup Association (CSA) is looking for a Social Media & Brand Manager to join our team on a 3-month volunteer basis - with the potential to transition into a part-time or full-time paid role depending on performance.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Overseeing design and creative execution for social content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms
- Managing the end-to-end content production process: planning, design coordination, posting, and tracking
- Ensuring brand consistency across all CSA visuals and communication
- Supporting the rollout of content tied to CSA events, founder spotlights, and global delegations
- Collaborating closely with the Partnerships and Programs team to align content with campaigns
- Recommending content strategies, reels, carousels, and campaigns that resonate with our community
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1–2 years experience managing social content for a brand, startup, or community
- Comfortable with Canva, PMO tools (like Notion), and managing content workflows
- A strong visual eye and understanding of brand consistency
- Familiarity with the founder/startup ecosystem is a plus
- Strong communication, initiative, and a passion for storytelling
