About the role
The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part**-Time (0.55 f.t.e.) Educational Assistant** at Fairview High School. This position is to commence on August 27, 2025 and continue until June 26, 2026. The successful candidate will be providing classroom support for Junior High students.

Qualifications:
- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience and/or training working with students in a junior/senior high school setting.
- Experience and/or training working with students with complex learning needs and/or who exhibit challenging behaviours.
Skills:
- Ability to work with students of varied ages, skill levels, needs and abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff.
- Ability to manage and organize programming and keep records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Conscientious, flexible and committed.
Requirements:
- Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check .

This is a union position under the collective agreement between the
Rate of Pay:
$21.34 to $ 26.77 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
