About the role

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with our quality standards. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in the construction industry.

Duties

  • Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Maintain project documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and reports.
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid for tracking project progress and budgets.
  • Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate effective communication.
  • Support the preparation of construction estimates and proposals using tools like Civil 3D and Bluebeam.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management or coordination within the construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., ProCore, HeavyBid) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
