What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the RCMP Municipal Supervisor and Watch Commander, the RCMP Watch Clerk will provide operational and clerical support to the RCMP members. The Watch Clerk will possess the ability to work in a demanding environment to effectively manage a variety of police situations. This position requires the use of a wide range of operational software (PROS, CPIC, JOIN, PAT Collision, etc.). This team-focused administrative role demands strong attention to detail and accuracy, effective communication with detachment and partner agencies, and the ability to provide timely support to RCMP members. The Watch Clerk must be able to work variable shifts, as per the detachment schedule.

Successful applicants will demonstrate on their resume:
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant administrative experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain an RCMP Enhanced Level Security Clearance. Possessing a current clearance would be an asset.
- Proficient and accurate computer skills
- Knowledge of the RCMP and judicial court and legal systems is highly desirable
- Experience assisting in court related duties, including compilation of legal documents and court briefs is preferred
In the interview we will be looking for the following competencies:
· Ability to recognize and respect the importance of confidentiality, discretion, tact, and courtesy
· Ability to foster connections among team members to ensure a cohesive unit
· Willingness to support organizational decisions and policies, and assist in their execution for the betterment of the community
· Examples or references that can confirm your strong interpersonal and organizational skills
· Examples or references that can confirm your ability to excel in high pressure situations
