LOCATION: HWY 52 near Stirling, AB
TERM OF WORK: Full-Time – Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays
HOURS: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (dependent on load facility availability)

JOB SUMMARY
The Class 1 Driver is responsible for transporting grain from elevators to our Hwy 52 feedlot and other sites as needed. This role ensures timely, safe, and reliable delivery of feed commodities while maintaining communication with the logistics team and adhering to maintenance schedules and safety protocols.

Kasko Cattle Co. is a family-owned feedlot and farming operation with four locations in southern Alberta. We have a capacity of 45,000 cattle and take pride in being a progressive, customer-centered, and sustainability-focused business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Haul from grain elevators to feedlot locations using Super B trailers.

Maintain equipment and complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Accurately track and report all loads.

Adhere to loading schedules, safety standards, and traffic regulations.

Maintain professional relationships with elevator and yard staff.

Assist with other tasks when hauling is not required.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Class 1 Driver’s License (required)

Clean driving record (minimum three years claims history REQUIRED)

Experience with Super B trailers preferred

Strong communication and time management skills

Agriculture or feedlot experience is an asset
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position operates primarily during daytime hours and is subject to occasional weather exposure during loading/unloading. Some weekend work may be required based on demand.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Wage: $30-$35/hour
- Benefits: Health, dental, vision, disability & life insurance after 3 months
- Pension: Company-paid plan after 1 year
