About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our growing finance team. This temporary role is perfect for a reliable and organized individual who excels at routine tasks and is comfortable navigating various online systems.

🏢 HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT Team members in Vancouver are required to work in the office every other week, for three consecutive days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Core hours of attendance will be mandatory from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on these days.

This is a 3-month secondment position, early Sep-Nov.

💼 A DAY IN THE LIFE As Our Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist, You Will Be a Key Player In Ensuring Our Billing Operations Run Smoothly. Your Day Will Be Focused On

  • Submit, monitor, and manage invoices through various third-party billing platforms
  • Prepare and send out invoices directly to clients accurately and timely
  • Ensure all proof of service, completion photos, and supporting documents are uploaded and organized thoroughly to validate job completion and facilitate billing
  • Assist the team with routine administrative tasks to help maintain seamless billing operations
  • Assist with ad hoc projects

🎯 What You Bring To The Table

  • Proven experience in an administrative support, data entry, or accounts receivable role
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Ability to manage a consistent workload of routine tasks efficiently and with minimal error
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and data management
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently while staying organized
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed
  • Prior experience using online third-party billing platforms (i.e., Coupa, Workday, ServiceChannel) for invoicing or data management is an asset
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is an asset

💰 Compensation

  • Salary range: $20-23 per hour (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
