Your impact
- Provides specialist project management expertise with respect to the delivery of the Airfield Electrical Works
- Works collaboratively alongside the other Senior Project Managers and Construction Managers to support the Program Lead
- Works with the Program Lead to manage the performance of the contractor and to escalate the necessary decisions
- Interfaces with various internal and external stakeholder groups to align the necessary consultations and approvals
- Works with the contractor to coordinate the required permits, approvals, and consents as well as to coordinate site logistics
- Oversees the delivery of the works in line with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk requirements
- Coordinates the effective application of change control procedures and escalates decisions as required
- Works collaboratively with the wider program team to coordinate reviews, inspections, and approvals incl. design, health and safety, quality, environmental, security, etc
- Works collaboratively with the wider team to coordinate procurement activities and contract management activities
- Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of Toronto's aviation program staff

Here's what you'll need
- Typically, a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in project / program management
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs with a focus on airfield restoration and / or electrical infrastructure works
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver complex projects and programs
- Strong technical capability in all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance preferably large program/projects
- Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholder relationships and providing reporting to enable effective decision making
- Familiarity of working in collaborative project environments and a working knowledge and experience of progressive contracting models incl. Progressive Design Build and Target Price
- Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills including the ability to facilitate meetings / workshops with groups of stakeholders
- Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field considered

Your impact
