What you will do: Reporting to the Manager, Media Strategy, the Media Coordinator plays a key role on the Consumer Marketing team, supporting media initiatives across Brand, Digital Commerce, Film, and Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) business lines. This position offers hands-on experience with major media platforms and the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders and our media agency. The Media Coordinator will contribute to the execution, optimization, and performance analysis of paid media campaigns that drive business impact.
NOTE: This is a hybrid role, based out of the Cineplex Head Office at 1303 Yonge St, Toronto
Responsibilities:
- Manage the trafficking and optimization of media campaigns, both independently and in collaboration with our media agency, to drive business and campaign objectives.
- Launch and monitor in-house digital media campaigns, with a primary focus on Meta Ads Manager, and expand your skills on additional platforms over time.
- Coordinate communications between internal teams and media agency partners to ensure smooth execution and alignment on priorities.
- Review and evaluate media plans and campaign strategies developed by our agency, providing feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop performance reports and gather data to support recommendations, clearly illustrating campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Maintain accurate media budgets and summaries, process invoices, manage contracts, and reconcile any billing discrepancies in partnership with agency teams.
- Build and manage audience segments based on targeting strategies to support campaign goals.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree or concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications preferred—or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, including campaign trafficking, optimization, and reporting.
- Practical experience in paid media buying, particularly on platforms like Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads Manager.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and Snapchat advertising is an asset.
- Strong budget management skills, including experience with invoice reconciliation and contract tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
