Join Our Team - Seeking an Experienced Service Manager
Upper James Toyota is part of the Parkway Motors Auto Group. We are family-owned and operated and are proud to have served Hamilton and area for over 40 years.
We are looking tor an strong, personable leader to manage and lead our high-volume Service Department processing over 1,000 Repair Orders per month—and growing. We're looking for a driven, experienced, and people-focused Service Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about team development and delivering an exceptional client experience. What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Increase labour sales volume and shop efficiency, while ensuring exceptional service
- Deliver an outstanding client experience, measured by CSI scores, Google reviews, and team morale
- Coach and support your team through daily check-ins, ongoing training, and quarterly reviews
- Oversee internal repair work for new and pre-owned vehicles
- Manage workflow and maintain optimal shop productivity
- Jump in to assist wherever needed to support your team and meet client needs
- Understand the importance of daily/monthly reports as required by the GM and Director of Fixed Operations and the metrics that support them
- Maintain strong communication with technicians and service advisors to align objectives
- Use the DMS system proficiently for everything from opening ROs to walkarounds and client updates
Who We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience as a Service Manager in a high-volume dealership

Solution-oriented approach to leadership and operations
-
Track record of high client satisfaction and team performance

Confident and competent in using DMS platforms (PBS preferred), Excel, and Microsoft Teams
-
Excels in time management and organization
-
Thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused environments
-
Leads by example and is hands-on when needed
-
Believes in consistent processes, such as walkarounds and proper repair order handling
-
Communicates clearly, calmly, and proactively
-
Professional appearance and conduct
-
Knowledge of PBS and XTIME are a definite plus
-
Experience in high-growth service departments

Technically savvy
