Aramark is hiring a Permanent Part-Time Clinical Dietitian for an interim patient care facility in Ottawa. This is a part-time 16-hour work week preferably during the morning weekdays. Onsite parking is provided at no cost.
As a member of the food services team, the Clinical Dietitian provides person-centered nutrition care to all residents with a focus on health, well-being and quality of life.
The Clinical Dietitian works independently and interacts with other members of the care team to provide quality health care and resident-centered services. The Clinical Dietitian ensures that all required documentation pertaining to the residents’ nutritional status are complete and accurate.
Job Responsibilities
• Assess and develop nutritional care for patients focusing on quality of life and nutritional care
• Consults with Physician and Interdisciplinary Team; communicates nutritional plans to all
• May participate in patient Case Conferences, ID rounds and resource for patients, families, etc.
• Collaborates with Food Services to meet departmental and nutritional standards
• Recommends programs/services that will improve resident care or departmental operations
• Maintains knowledge of trends in clinical dietetics via publications, research, ongoing education
• Maintains contact with Dietetic organizations related to specific areas of responsibility
• Must work within budgetary constraints of the department
• Interacts with Food Services staff to meet overall objectives of the Food Services department

Qualifications
• Willing to work on a permanent Part-Time basis – 16 hours/week
• 4-year bachelor’s Nutrition degree from an accredited university or college
• Graduate of an accredited Dietetic Internship Program
• Registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Previous experience in a health care or care facility is preferred
• Demonstrated strong management and leadership skills
• Interpersonal, communication, organizational skills; ensures accurate records are maintained
