About the role
Responsibilities:
- Prepares customs entries and follows-up with the clearance and acquittal process.
- Works with international and domestic carriers and overseas vendors.
- Maintains the Tariff Guide and duty rates in our ERP.
- Assist other departments with import and export inquiries.
- Issue export documentation for all orders shipped out of Canada
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Customs processes; the Harmonized System, Other government agencies (PGA), D-Memos, Free Trade Agreements and Export regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role.
- CSCB Designation and knowledge of US Customs regulations a benefit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidate may be required to carry out other responsibilities in order to meet changing business needs
