Now Hiring: Benefits Administrator
Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Mon-Fri
Pay: $21-25/hr W/Benefits
We’re looking for a Benefit Administrator to join our team and support the administration of defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the launch of a new Telus Health pension administration system
- Process pension benefit calculations and monthly payroll
- Maintain and reconcile data for annuitants, withdrawals, and valuation reports
- Prepare and file tax and regulatory documents (T4As, AIRs, PAs, PSPAs, PARs)
- Issue annual member pension statements
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Liaise with auditors, actuaries, custodians, and plan members
Preferred Experience:
- Defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans
- Telus Health pension administration solutions
- Pension and income tax legislation knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Education:
- Post-secondary education preferred, ideally in finance or a related field
