About Us:
Denise Elliott Beauty Co. is a welcoming studio to anyone, of any age, who is looking to feel better about the way they look. Our studio is located in North Vancouver at 129 Lonsdale Avenue. We offer a variety of services such as professional hairstyling, cut & colour, makeup applications for any event, weddings (mobile or in-studio) and makeup lessons & parties (in-studio or virtual). Our makeup and hair stylists are also available mobile whether it’s coming to the clients home, hotel room, office space or wherever they may need us to beautify them!
We are looking to strengthen our team at the studio by adding a Part Time/Casual Front Desk Receptionist.
EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES & OBLIGATIONS:
- Providing Guests with a 5-Star Guest Experience
- Guest Check-ins/outs
- Administrative Duties - emails, phone calls, booking appointments, online bookings etc.
- Knowledge of all services offered
- Product Knowledge
- Maintaining a cleanly and organized waiting area
- Receiving retail orders
- Cleaning and stocking stations;
- Posting stories on our social media account
- Keeping an eye on rotating laundry (hair towels needed for hair clients).
- Being a team member - help our team when possible!
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Interest in the beauty industry
-Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and live in Vancouver or surrounding
-Previous customer service experience is an asset
-Previous cash handling experience is an asset
-Proficient in computer use
-Detail-oriented with the ability to think quick on your feet
-Strong time management skills
-Knowledge of Booker booking system is an asset
-Loves a busy, exciting environment!
