We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to customer service. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently while providing an exceptional travel experience. This role requires a keen understanding of local routes, traffic patterns, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Duties
- Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, ensuring it meets safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide change as necessary.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or personal items.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Utilize GPS or maps to navigate efficiently through the city.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and respectful to all passengers.
- Manage time effectively to accommodate multiple pickups and drop-offs throughout the shift.
Skills
- Strong cash handling abilities for accurate fare collection.
- Proven driving skills with a valid driver's license; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt arrivals and departures.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse passengers.
- Familiarity with local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is highly desirable.
- Must hold a Valid Class 4 licence, clean drivers abstract & criminal background check with a vulnerable sector
