Position Overview:
We are currently hiring Event Security Guards to support our upcoming event Roots & Blues in the Salmon Arm. As part of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure, safe, and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Manage entry points and ensure authorized access at event venues
- Assist with crowd management to maintain a smooth and safe flow of guests
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies in a calm and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to attendees, vendors, and staff
- Follow event security protocols and instructions from supervisors
Qualifications:
- Previous security experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to remain alert and professional in fast-paced environments
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Mandatory Licenses and Preferred Certifications:
- Valid Security Guard License (Required)
- Crowd Management Training (Preferred)

Important Details:
- No Overtime available.
- No Accommodations provided.
- Food will be provided on request. (Food charges will be deducted from paystub).

- Travel Time will be paid.
