Operations Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Type: Contract | 6–12 Months | Full-Time
Pay Rate: $60 per hour
Experience: 8+ years
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager on behalf of our client in the aerospace manufacturing sector based in Calgary, Alberta . This is a 6 to 12-month contract role with a competitive hourly rate of $60 , offering an opportunity to lead critical production and operational initiatives within a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of aerospace components
- Lead cross-functional teams in production, quality, logistics, and supply chain to achieve operational targets
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and ensure accountability
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with strategic goals and program milestones
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations or production management within aerospace or advanced manufacturing
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of driving results
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality standards (e.g., AS9100)
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Contract Duration: 6–12 months
- Compensation: $60 per hour (contractor basis)
