Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Service Sales Representative to join our client’s growing team. This role is focused on acquiring new service contracts by developing and nurturing relationships with property managers and building owners throughout the Lower Mainland. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving outbound sales activity and managing a portfolio of existing commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new customer relationships to achieve sales targets.
- Position the company as the preferred provider of plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC service solutions.
- Quote and negotiate maintenance agreements tailored to customer needs and market dynamics.
- Develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
- Monitor competitive activity and respond with strategic positioning and value-based selling.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, operations, and technical teams, to support customer success.
- Provide timely feedback to leadership on market trends, customer insights, and revenue opportunities.
- Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and budgets.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the mechanical or building services industry.
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and spend 2–3 days per week meeting clients in the field.
- Comfortable conducting site visits, including walking long distances and using ladders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Jonas Construction Management Software is an asset.
