About the role

Job Description

The Associate Director of Care is responsible for overseeing the delivery of care services to residents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of quality care. This role involves collaboration with various departments to enhance the overall resident experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the care team and ensure high-quality care is provided to residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care services.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with a valid license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in care delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in long-term care or geriatric care.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
