Warehouse Operator - One (1) Year Contract Position

We are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our busy team to cover a one (1) year contract for a maternity leave.

Responsibilities:

• Meet customer’s packaging requirements
• Matching BOL to physical shipment
• Delivering paperwork to correct person
• Segregating damaged product
• Ensuring physical inventory is accurate, performing random audits on inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse by implementing daily housekeeping habits
• Ensure that AWSA Protocols are met
• Ensure FIFO standards are being used
• Packaging and labeling products
• Distribution of product, stage loads for shipment
• Repetitive motion/lifting
• Assist with blending/unloading and loading of tankers, if trained
• Other related duties as required or assigned

Required Knowledge:

• Demonstrate good organizational skills
• Know how to work safely
• Able to work in a team environment that is constantly working towards improving its processes and practices
• Forklift experience an asset
• Able to follow instructions from supervisor
• At least one (1) year manufacturing experience required
• At least one (1) year counterbalance forklift experience required

Qualifications:

• Overtime as required
• Able to lift at least 50 - 60 lbs repetitively
• Manual dexterity to work on various production lines
• Able to identify any health and safety issues
