About the role
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinates a comprehensive program for seniors and adults with disabilities: domains to include physical, emotional, social, spiritual and educational purposes.
- Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates such programs suited to the participants attending the day program.
- Ensures the safe environment practices for personnel and volunteers delivering service.
- Working with Clients in the day program to provide, care, support, assistance, and supervision to clients on site location (or off site location in the event of an outbreak situation or redevelopment)
- Responsible for environmental cleaning and setting up and clearing of program areas prior to client arrival, during programming and after departure.
Required Qualifications
- Certified in Recreational Leadership or similar related programs
- Must be client focused
- Most posses excellent communication and documentation skills
- Must be available as a 'van driver' for day program (valis driver's license class G, Insurance coverage); van training provided
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $22.30-$23.65 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 22.5 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

The Long Term Care Facility Maxville Manor provides a facilitative, enriched environment to 120 seniors requiring long term or respite care. The Residents benefit from the coordinated services of an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, personal care providers and other relevant disciplines.
