Ministry**:** 001 Agriculture

Salary Range**:** $30.929 - $38.009 Hourly

Grade**:** SGEU.08.

The Ministry of Agriculture is looking for a values-based team member and engaged culture contributor to lead the work of a team of agreement coordinators in our Lands Branch.

As the Agreement Coordinator, Team Lead you will:

  • Prioritize and assign tasks to Agreement Coordinators;
  • Work closely with the Land Management Specialists and Agreement Coordinators to ensure completion of all dispositions based on the priorities as outlined by the Management team;
  • Provide guidance, direction and leadership to the Branch through planning and organizing work of agreement coordinators, reporting on land management activities, and implementing special initiatives;
  • Develop and implement training to Branch units on policies and processes for all disposition types;
  • Provide guidance and support to the Manager of Land Administration for prioritization of workflows;
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to approved policies and processes to maintain service excellence standards; and
  • Provide support to Branch units on the functionalities of our Crown Land computerized database, which may include: training, creating reports and problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have the ability to accurately reference, interpret and apply acts, regulations, policies and guidelines to daily operations;
  • Be a team player who can lead, coach and encourage staff to maintain a positive, productive and diverse work environment;
  • Have the ability to instruct, coach and encourage others to enhance their job performance and further develop their skills;
  • Have the ability to compile, evaluate and organize relevant information to make accurate and timely decisions on a variety of issues; and
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be obtained through an office administration certificate and at least three years of experience in a recent similar role.
