Our mission is to build an all-in-one cloud-based platform that empowers pharmacists to schedule, document, and manage clinical services at scale. We help pharmacies transform into community health hubs. We are building software for an industry that has relied on pen and paper throughout its history. This is why crafting, building, and constantly improving the end-to-end customer experience is essential. It’s crucial that we listen deeply to the diverse needs of our pharmacies which could be located anywhere from dense urban jungles to small remote communities. We design and build for their needs to ultimately provide more proactive and sustainable care for the patients in their communities.

MedMe has the two largest pharmacy chains in Canada as clients; we are servicing over 4500 pharmacies, and we power over 14 million patient services. We played a critical role across the country throughout the pandemic in getting the larger population vaccinated, and are expanding internationally. Our investors include M12 (Microsoft’s Venture Fund), MaRS IAF, and Y-Combinator.

About You

  • You are a QA Automation Engineer or SDET with a couple years of experience
  • You have a growth mindset and you seek out opportunities to grow
  • Your communication style is open, concise, and effective; you can easily explain technical to non-technical parties
  • You care about the product and about the end-user
  • You have knowledge of test activities within release pipelines, including promoting artifacts from development to production through unit testing, regression testing, performance testing and more
  • You show potential to lead test design and implementation processes
  • You have an understanding of automation workflows and methodologies
  • You have an understanding of various test types including unit, integration, end-to-end, security, functional, performance, and load testing
  • You are skilled in reviewing automated test results, triaging failures, and verifying outcomes

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in a high level programming language such as JavaScript, Typescript, and/or Python
  • Experience with UI automation tools like Cypress, CodeceptJS, or Playwright
  • Experience with API Automation, using technologies such as REST and GraphQL
  • Familiarity with a code versioning tool like git
  • Experience in managing test cases, test data, test runs, and test results, providing clear feedback and visibility to assess test coverage

Nice To Have Skills

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Argo Workflows, or GitLab
  • Experience scripting using bash, zsh, or shell
  • Experience writing unit tests with tools such as Jest
  • Experience writing performance tests with tools such as K6
  • Experience adding data test ids to a web application
  • Ability to scout emerging industry trends such as AI testing and other best in class processes

Location & Timezone Requirement We are fully remote in Canada, however, we like to plan on-site team retreats! This role is scoped for candidates in APAC and LATAM , but we are open to all locations as long as you meet the minimum 3-hour overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST) in your standard working hours and align with our salary range.
