We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Build and interpret schematics for HVAC systems to ensure proper installation and repairs.
- Perform welding and plumbing tasks as needed for system installations or repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations performed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build, plumb, weld, and perform appliance repair tasks.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Experience with various HVAC equipment including boilers, air conditioners, and ventilation systems.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
