BIMMEX Independent BMW and Mercedes Service is looking for an Assistant/Automotive Service Manager in Markham, Ontario. We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our service team. This position is an integral role at Bimmex and is the front-line service representative who is responsible for providing our customers with an expectational experience while ensuring their service needs are being met.
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians and Service Advisors. As the Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of automotive technicians and Service Advisors, providing guidance and support as needed
• Schedule and prioritize service appointments to ensure efficient workflow
• Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are performed accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly
• Monitor and control expenses within the service department
• Implement strategies to increase sales and promote upselling of additional services
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
• Extensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
• Experience in cash handling and financial management
• Proven track record in sales and upselling of automotive services
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Solid mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with technicians
• Familiarity with Automotive Service operations and processes

You’ll also need to have:

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive service advisor experience
• Minimum of 2 years automotive Service Manager experience
• An understanding of vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ Driver’s License
• Experience with Protractor Software (considered an asset)
• Experience with BMW and/or Mercedes (considered an asset)

Pay: $60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
