Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team at our scratch bakery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience making baked goods from scratch using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients. This role involves mixing, shaping, baking, and finishing a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked items.
Job Structure
This is a full-time hourly wage position. Work schedule includes weekends and holidays as required. Paid vacation accrual at 4%. Health insurance plan is included after 6 months of full time employment.
Responsibilties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods (e.g., artisan breads and pastries) from scratch according to recipes and bakery standards.
- Scale and mix ingredients accurately.
- Knead, shape, proof, and bake products with attention to consistency and quality.
- Monitor and adjust baking times and temperatures as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and workstations.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the team on new product ideas and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure proper rotation and storage of ingredients and finished products.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory tracking and ingredient ordering as needed.
Please note this position is on an overnight shift, 12:00am-8:00am. Only candidates with this availability will be considered.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 44 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Bread Baking: 2 years (required)
