Job Requirements
- Customer service background (preferably call centre experience) with outgoing positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize.
- High initiative with ability to work both in a team and independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Willingness to be involved with continuing education as required.
- Fluency in French would be an asset.
- Experience in pension or benefit administration would be an asset.
Job Duties
- Communication, written and verbal with administrators, plan members/beneficiaries, etc.
- Answering member calls with regard to standard questions, assist members with completion of forms. Answer questions regarding annual mailings to active/deferred and retired members. Provide status updates on documentation and payment information to members. Initiate plan member requests (complete call logs) for retirement, termination and death.
- Record keeping/file maintenance; update addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. in the database for incoming requests. Assist with mailing of documents as required.
- Prepare reports and attend meetings as required.
- Other administrative duties as required.
