We are hiring Personal/Home Support Workers to join our team in Mount Forest Area.
Candidates must be available for a variety of visit times, including mornings, evenings, weekends and/or nights and some holidays.

Duties:
- Assists clients with activities of daily living such as feeding, lifts
and transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders, in accordance with established policies
- Plans, prepares and serves meals, shops for groceries.
- Performs light housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, and laundry
- Observes clients and their environments, reports unsafe conditions and behavioural, physical and/or cognitive changes to supervisor
- Completes and maintains related records and documentation such as visit notes
- Accompanies clients on outings such as appointments, shopping, and leisure activities
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Current certificate in standard First-aid and CPR (BLS level)
- PSW training certificate, IE nurses, HSW, PCA, HCA or equivalent
- Police Vulnerable Sector Screen Check (VSSC)
- 2 step TB
- 2 professional references
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team
- Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregiving
- Must be passionate, patient, caring and committed
