As the Assistant Accommodations Manager, you will serve as a key point of contact for all accommodation-related inquiries at the resort. The role also includes managing daily operations, staff supervision and guest relations. Responsibilities
Working closely with the Hospitality Manager & Housekeeping Supervisor to learn all facets of managing accommodation at Castle Mountain Resort
Assisting with inventory management of cleaning and housekeeping supplies
Ensuring all guest accommodation and resort facilities are cared for and inspected according to standards for the highest guest experience.
Assisting with checking accommodation as well as hot tubs & other amenities prior to guest arrival to ensure everything is up to standard.
Safe operation of a UTV within the base area to commute between rental units.
Assisting with booking and management of reservations, handling deposits and payments, helping with check-ins and check-outs.
Becoming familiar with and strictly adhering to all company and department policies & protocol.
Responding to email & phone inquiries regarding accommodation at the resort.
Engaging in communications with the owners of rental properties & members of the community.
Providing directions and assistance to housekeeping staff.
Being available on-call on occasions when the Housekeeping Supervisor is not on call, potentially twice a week.
Adhering strictly to rules regarding health and safety and being aware of and following all company-related practices.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work within a team environment independently.
Strong organizational, prioritization capabilities leadership.
Attention to detail and maintain high cleanliness standards.
Available weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Where We Are:
Castle Mountain Resort is located at the end of Highway 774, near Pincher Creek, AB. This is a remote work location. There is a communal living Staff Accommodation building on-site for new and returning non-supervisory, seasonal employees. About Castle Mountain Resort Inc.
Castle Mountain Resort (CMR) is Alberta's most authentic mountain experience. The resort, occupying an exceptionally beautiful, and snowy, location in the Westcastle Valley of the Southwestern Alberta Rocky Mountains, is located 2.5 hours southwest of Calgary. Castle is the only resort in Alberta with drive-to, ski-in/ski-out accommodations. The resort is well known for the best continuous fall-line terrain in Canada and no shortage of powder (900 cm's annually). Castle is Alberta's second largest resort, by acreage, taking skiers and riders back to the roots of our sport with uncrowded slopes, superb hospitality, and fixed grip lifts.

Castle Mountain Resort's Powder Stagecoach cat skiing operation is a resort based wilderness adventure taking you high up onto Haig Mountain, where more than 2000 vertical feet and almost 900 acres of untracked terrain awaits.
There is also miles upon miles of snowmobile trails leaving from the resort exploring the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Guided Snow Shoe Tours on mountain, perfect for Après Ski adventures. There is even a fantastic Cross Country Ski network at our doorstep and a lifetime of backcountry opportunities for the more adventurous.
In the summer Castle Mountain is the perfect venue for an intimate mountain getaway wedding. The T-Bar Pub and Grub is also open on weekends throughout the summer. There are numerous hiking trails and adventures to explore in Castle Provincial and Wildland Parks which surround Castle Mountain Resort.
