Culinary Steward

A key member of the culinary team, the kitchen steward is responsible for cleanliness in the restaurant back-of-house. This position requires open availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning dishes from all Food & Beverage service in various hotel departments
• Assisting with storage of food orders
• General cleaning duties throughout the kitchen area
• Assisting with staff meal service
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience an asset
• Sincere team focus
• Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Continuous standing and walking throughout shift
• Some lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting over-head

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.04 per hour
