As a leader in the snowbike and niche powersports space, we’re growing fast—and we need someone who can take charge of our financial operations, helping streamline processes and provide critical insights that fuel our innovation.
In this role, you’ll manage the day-to-day accounting and finance activities across our connected group of companies. From full-cycle bookkeeping and cash flow forecasting to leading month-end processes and preparing year-end packages, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. If you're excited about the opportunity to work with an adventurous and forward-thinking crew—and even get out for the occasional backcountry ride—this might be the dream job for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain full-cycle accounting for a group of affiliated companies, including journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting
- Track and reconcile intercompany transactions with accuracy and detail
- Authorize EFT payments, wire transfers, payroll payments, and deposits
- Prepare, file, and post government remittances, including EHT, WCB, PST, GST, and select U.S. sales tax filings
- Lead the month-end close process: review journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, generate working papers, and complete reports to meet banking covenant requirements
- Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts, reflecting expected receipts and disbursements
- Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare year-end working papers and serve as the primary contact for external reviewers
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed to support business operations
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in accounting, or related field
- Proficient with accounting software, particularly cloud based ERP systems
- Identifying & implementing opportunities for continuous improvement wherever possible in a team environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong time management skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment
