Petopia has been a leading dog daycare and boarding facility in Toronto for over 17 years. We are looking for full time and part time hard working and reliable dog lovers to join our team! You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, not be afraid to get dirty and be comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs.

Job duties:

· Maintain control and supervise large groups of dogs (15-30 dogs)

· Love on, care for, interact, engage and have fun with the dogs

· Cleaning after the dogs in the play areas and also in the suites

· Maintain facility cleanliness such as sweeping, mopping, laundry, and dishwashing

· Feeding and providing medication for dogs

· Ability to stand and be active for up to 8-10 hours per day

· Basic grooming for dogs such as baths, brushing and nail clipping

· Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs

· Interact with clients with taking in and checking out dogs

· Taking payments and recording transactions

Job Requirements:

· Be 18 years or older

· Be available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays

· Be available to work at least 3 days a week

· Have a true passion and love for all dogs

· Be reliable and hardworking

· Be able to work well with your team members as well as working independently

· Be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

· Be calm and confident

· Basic knowledgeable in dog body language and training

· Have at least 1 year of professional dog care experience

Shifts:

· Monday to Friday morning shifts between 6am to 1pm, afternoon shifts 1pm to 6pm, evening shifts 6pm to 9pm (may be later on occasion)

· Weekend and holiday shifts between 6:30am to 10pm

Compensation and benefits:

· From $16.55 to $17.55 per hour depending on experience
