Job Summary

Chief Isaac Group is seeking a Partnership Manager to develop and strengthen strategic business relationships that align with the company's growth and community values. This role will focus on identifying opportunities, negotiating partnerships, and fostering collaborations that drive sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and establish new partnerships that align with Chief Isaac Group’s strategic goals.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and grow strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and Indigenous communities.
  • Negotiations & Agreements: Lead discussions, draft partnership agreements, and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Market Research: Analyze industry trends, opportunities, and potential collaborations to expand business opportunities.
  • Project Coordination: Work with internal teams to support partnership initiatives, ensuring successful execution and impact.
  • Community Engagement: Represent Chief Isaac Group in networking events, industry conferences, and business forums.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track partnership performance, prepare reports, and provide insights on opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in business development, partnership management, or corporate relations.
  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to assess business opportunities and develop growth strategies.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven experience in deal-making and contract negotiations.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and build meaningful relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Indigenous business development and community partnerships is an asset.

The Chief Isaac Group of Companies was established in 1984 to own and operate the business interests of the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in (translated as ‘people of the river'), a self-governing Yukon First Nation serving the Han people located in Dawson City.

In 2009, the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in Trust was established as the sole shareholder of the Chief Isaac Group of Companies acting on behalf of the Trust's beneficiaries – the citizens of the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in.

The Chief Isaac Group of Companies operates contemporary enterprises in the modern world, while remaining rooted in the strong, ethical traditions of our ancestors.

Our group of companies respectfully carries the name of this historic Chief who led the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in at the time of the Klondike Gold Rush during the late 1800s.
